LILO (Linux Loader) is a traditional Linux boot loader. Here is the step to configure LILO. There are three options to setup LILO.
- Simple - Try to install LILO automatically.
- Expert - Use expert lilo.conf setup menu.
- Skip - Do not install LILO.
The first option, Simple, Slackware will try to install LILO automatically. Slackware will detect if there are other operating system in your computer and will include that operating system in LILO.
The second option, Expert mode, you configure LILO yourself. I would recommend this but not to a beginner.
The third option, you can skip installing LILO. If you created a USB boot device in the previous step, you can choose this option. However, choosing the first option is better if you don't have other operating system in your computer.
